Digna ….
…. born in New Zealand, raised in Holland.
Le Sareymond seems like a logical step for her, as she has already exploited a hotel and a holiday-apartment complex in the French-speaking part of Belgium. At the hotel restaurant it was her behind the pots and pans…..
Digna always likes to give a warm welcome to her guests, something you can’t learn at school, but is her natural habitude. Digna speaks Dutch, French, English, German and a little Danish.

Marcel ….
…. born and raised in Holland.
For him the B&B business is new, but Marcel also enjoys giving guests a warm welcome at Le Sareymond. He is also an enthusiastic hobby-cook and if time allows he tries hard to maintain the art of woodcraft-ship that has been in his family from mothers’ side for many generations. He has spent a great part of his adult life living in Denmark, so he’s a bit of a Viking ….. Marcel speaks Dutch, Danish, Norwegian and English. He tries his best with German but must admit he does not (yet) speak French. But he is working on that: Oui !!!

The two of us ….
….. like to spend time in the kitchen, experimenting with new techniques, re-discovering classic recipes, enjoying fresh and good ingredients and each other! We also like to spend a day walking up in the mountains, as where Menée is one of the best places to be ….. music is one of our other mutual interests … We really love to enjoy life and in our opinion it is the interaction with the guests that makes a stay at – and the exploitation of – our B&B Le Sareymond so worth wile!
